Work with us
Higher Ground Learning is a small team of tutors and instructors who help students prepare for the SAT, ACT and PSAT and keep up in school. We're always glad to hear from people who love teaching and working with youth.
Who we hire
Part-time tutors and class instructors for:
- Test prep — SAT, ACT, PSAT (and GRE, GMAT, LSAT, GED, SSAT)
- Academic subjects — math, science, English and writing, social sciences and languages
You know your subject deeply, explain it clearly, and enjoy working with teenagers one-on-one and in small groups.
What the work is like
- Part-time. Hours ebb and flow with the test dates and the school year — busier before each test, quieter in between.
- Salt Lake City and online. In-person sessions in the Salt Lake City area, and online sessions with students anywhere.
- Support. Our curriculum, practice tests and a team that shares what works.
